Lambda Tau Omega

On March 1st, 2025, we hosted a special edition of our signature recruitment event, Vino Blanco – Parents Edition. This unique virtual informational brought together not only interested womyn but also their families, alongside the parents of our undergraduate sisters, for an evening of community, storytelling, and connection. The event aimed to provide an authentic look into the sisterhood and impact of Lambda Tau Omega from a perspective rarely shared—the voices of our parents. Sisters proudly introduced their mothers, fathers, and guardians, who shared heartfelt testimonials about the transformative growth, empowerment, and community involvement they have witnessed in their daughters since joining Lambda Tau Omega. From stories of newfound confidence to reflections on meaningful community service projects, the family members highlighted the strength, leadership, and sisterhood fostered by the organization. Interested womyn were encouraged to invite their own parents or guardians to join the Zoom call, offering them the opportunity to learn about the sorority’s mission, values, and lifelong impact. Parents and guardians of interested womyn engaged in an open Q&A session, where they asked questions about academic support, community involvement, safety, and long-term benefits of membership. The evening concluded with a message of unity and family—reminding everyone that Lambda Tau Omega is not just a sisterhood but an extended family built on the principles of empowerment, service, and academic excellence.
