We are officially halfway through March, and I want to take a moment to remind us that there is still plenty of time for every chapter and every sister to make an impact through our national initiative HerStrength, HerCare. This drive is about something incredibly powerful: dignity for women and families in need. As a social worker at Union County Division of Social Services, I work directly with individuals experiencing homelessness and financial hardship. I can tell you from firsthand experience that hygiene donations truly matter. Something as simple as a package of pads, tampons, soap, or shampoo can mean the world to someone trying to maintain dignity during a difficult time. And that is exactly what this initiative represents: Women supporting women. Every member of the National Governing Board is personally donating to this drive. In addition, NGB will contribute a $150 donation to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey through our virtual drive. Now let’s show the power of Lambda Tau Omega sisterhood across our chapters.
